TOTAL GHANA AND STAR ASSURANCE COLLABORATION

Total Ghana and Star Assurance have collaborated in putting together an enhanced loyalty scheme aimed at rewarding our mutual clients in the transport sector.

The collaboration is aimed at selling Motor Insurance and related products to all commercial drivers especially members of the Total Troxi Club and the public with the offer of free fuel based on the type of insurance product purchased. This service is currently being offered at twenty-five Total Service Stations in Accra. The plan to roll it out in phases across our entire network across the country.

Star Assurance will set up point of sales at selected Total Service Stations, to make buying of insurance more exciting to serve members of the Troxi Club in addition to enjoying exciting rewards.

Delivering a speech at the launch, the Sales and Marketing Manager of Total Ghana, Mr. Laurent Gouy said “we are proud to launch another innovative service in partnership with one of the key players in the Insurance Sector, Star Assurance. This is a major strategic move in Ghana, for an Oil Marketing Company and an Insurance Company to form a partnership of this nature that seeks to provide convenient service to meet the growing needs of cherished customers.

Speaking on behalf of the Managing Director of Star Assurance Mr. Emmanuel Baiden (Director of Finance) emphasized the fact that Star Assurance is committed to prompt payment of claims and as part of the priority service offering, Star Assurance will set up a special desk within their Claims Unit for extra fast-tracked claims processing and payment for all Troxi Club members.

He said this partnership is one of the many efforts Star Assurance is making in deepening insurance penetration and bringing insurance closer to the insuring public and making it is more accessible.

Total Ghana is passionate about providing our cherished commercial drivers with the best services, therefore this additional provision of motor insurance in TOTAL Service Stations in collaboration with Star Assurance, is an innovation that we believe will be very beneficial to all drivers.
